Bryony Frost expressed delight with
Milansbar after the jockey schooled him over
Grand National replica fences in Lambourn on Thursday.
Frost was reunited with Neil King's 11-year-old for the first time since the partnership claimed the Classic Chase at Warwick in January.
And the 22-year-old rider could not have been happier with her
National mount ahead of the big race at
Aintree on Saturday week.
She told the Daily Mirror: "This is the second time I've ever sat on him. I was happy. When I asked him, he delivered for me. He jumped those fences great.
"He's worked really nicely. It was spot-on - you can't ask for a better day."
Frost's father, Jimmy, won the Grand National aboard Little Polveir in 1989.
"You need a hell of a lot of luck," added Bryony Frost.
"You could be the best horse in the race but if one horse brings you down, that's the end of the game."
