Brilliant Enable 'in good shape' and on course for Arc

Enable remains firmly on course for a crack at the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe at Chantilly in October.
John Gosden's all-conquering filly has looked imperious so far this season, running out a brilliant winner of the English and Irish Oaks before a scintillating performance against the boys in the King George at Ascot.
Enable then recorded another facile success back against her own sex in the Yorkshire Oaks last time out, and Teddy Grimthorpe, racing manager to owner Khalid Abdullah, reports her to be in rude health ahead of her trip across the Channel.
He said: "I saw her last night and she was fine and relaxed and is on course for the Arc. She has not done much, but she is in good shape and has come out of the race really well."
Despite Enable's intended participation in the Arc, a decision has yet to be made on whether the daughter of Nathaniel will continue to race on at four.
Grimthorpe said: "We will talk to John and Prince Khalid. There is no need to make any decision yet. I know it would be a nicety in many ways, but we will see how it goes in the Arc."
Abdullah could have another superstar on his hands in the shape of Expert Eye, who took apart a decent-looking field to win the Vintage Stakes at Goodwood on his latest start.
The son of Acclamation was due to put his unbeaten record on the line this weekend in the National Stakes at the Curragh, but connections decided to swerve the Group One contest after a dirty scope.
Grimthorpe said: "He is fine. We just have to get him properly back for the Dewhurst. Obviously we would have loved to be running this weekend, but you have to do the right thing by the horse as he is a horse for the future.
"He had a slight foot thing after Goodwood. It was not very significant, but therefore you had to back off him. He came back and did a bit of work and it was just a minor dirty scope.
"It would have only been his third run of his life and running against the Ballydoyle horses, you want to be ticking all the right boxes."
