Annacotty leads 13 contenders for BetBright Chase glory

Annacotty heads 13 horses declared for the BetBright Handicap Chase at Kempton on Saturday - with Tea For Two a significant absentee.Runner-up in the Peterborough Chase at Huntingdon before finishing a close-up fourth in the King George VI Chase at Kempton on Boxing Day, the Nick Williams-trained Tea For Two claimed his first victory in over a year at Exeter earlier in the month.The eight-year-old was the ante-post favourite for this weekend's feature event, but connections have decided against turning him out less than a fortnight after his recent success under a penalty.The defection of Tea For Two and last week's runaway Ascot scorer Tenor Nivernais leaves Annacotty at the top of the weights, but he has plenty to prove following a disappointing campaign thus far.Double Shuffle is a major contender for Tom George, having impressed over the course and distance in December, while Dan Skelton's Market Rasen victor Three Musketeers is another leading light.Other hopefuls include last year's winner Theatre Guide, trained by Colin Tizzard, the Paul Nicholls-trained Irish Saint and Fingerontheswitch from Neil Mulholland's stable.
