Angus McNae's Wednesday tips: dine out on Mac N Cheese at Ayr

I have four selections for you all on Wednesday. There is no Flat racing on Racing UK with cards from Ayr, Bangor and Exeter so I’ve got four National Hunt horses to go to war with.
This mare has been running well on the Flat and is clearly leniently treated over hurdles.
She is rated 72 on the flat, yet gets to race off 110 over hurdles - a disparity of 38 is, by anyone’s handicapping standards, one that makes her well-treated over obstacles.
Such calculations are not bombproof, though, but given this mare has been in good form it is fair to assume that a mere translation of her Flat ability to hurdles will see her prevail.
Brian Hughes rides, which is a massive addition to her chance.
This horse has always looked like a decent chasing prospect and on his debut over the larger obstacles today he looks to be a decent punting proposition.
On his final start last season he outstayed his rivals in a maiden hurdle at Warwick, forging clear in the closing stages.
Now he is tackling fences he could make up into a useful staying novice chaser.
The stiff track looks sure to suit him and his lightly-raced profile leaves him open to any amount of improvement in this sphere.
This mare, trained by Alan King, was really impressive in victory on her final start of the season at Cheltenham.
She travelled well and comfortably beat a field of decent mares by four lengths.
That was a Listed contest, now in a Class Two Handicap she is taking on the boys, but she is very talented and should be able to cope.
The lay-off since April is something of a concern, but this is not a very deep race and she is the most progressive type in the field.
Indeed her sixth place effort in the Mares’ Hurdle at Cheltenham last season behind Apples Jade is a stand out piece of form in this grade.
This horse really came good on his last two starts over hurdles, winning both comfortably and he looks set to strike on his chase debut on Wednesday.
His latest 18-length win at Perth was a complete demolition job and a rise in the weights of 17 lbs, while hefty, is unlikely to prevent him winning on his chase debut in a race that lacks strength.
Keith Dalgleish, his trainer, does not have many jumpers but does well with those that he does train and this horse can provide him with another winner in his rapidly burgeoning career.

2.30 Exeter: Longtown at 6-1 with BetVictor and Coral
