Went to post early and in stalls at least 15 minutes, led, ridden and tried to quicken 3f out, hung left off rail from 2f out, headed 1f out, no chance with winner

Ran without one shoe, tracked leader, ridden inside final 2f, lost 2nd over 1f out, kept on same pace final furlong

Tracked leaders in 4th, headway on outside over 2f out, 4th and one pace final furlong

Slowly into stride, always behind

Ran in snatches and soon in last pair, never a factor

Held up in 5th, pushed along and outpaced 3f out, no headway
