There was much to like about the way DIPPEDINMOONLIGHT travelled through the race when runner-up on handicap debut at Fairyhouse and, with further progress highly likely, she is taken to go one better here. The lightly-raced County Final was just touched off in a Grade 2 Limerick novice on Boxing Day and he is greatly respected back in handicap company. Gordon Elliott saddles several, with Wendrock the pick of them ahead of Son of Anarchy. Road To Home is also shortlisted.

About The Selections
Ross Millar
Wendrock He’s been on my radar since catching my eye finishing strongly in last season’s Fred Winter Hurdle having been badly hampered
Andy Stephens
Daily Present The Kim Muir winner is 5lb lower over hurdles and ran well for a long way on his return here last month. Worth an each-way dabble at chunky odds
Alex Scott
Wendrock He made up lots of late ground last time having been poorly positioned and this trip could unlock further improvement. 12-1 looks chunky

Race Hints
Specific Pace Hint: Small Town Hero shouldn’t be inconvenienced if looking to adopt a prominent position: The forecast decent pace still isn’t likely to sway the advantage towards those usually ridden further back such as is Wendrock.
Individual Price Hint: Grann's Boy has traded at more than 2 times Betfair SP twice when winning during its last 5 starts: Hartur D'arc traded at 10% or less of Betfair SP and 50% or less of Betfair SP twice on 3 of its last 5 starts.
