Triple murder suspect Kyle Clifford has been found following the crossbow deaths of the wife and two daughters of BBC racing commentator John Hunt.
Clifford, 26, was found in the Enfield area of north London on Wednesday afternoon, Hertfordshire Police said.
He is receiving medical treatment having been found with injuries. No shots were fired by police, the force said.
Clifford, was wanted in connection with the deaths of Carol Hunt, wife of John Hunt, and their two daughters Hannah, 28, and Louise, 25, in Bushey, Hertfordshire.
The force said they believe he was known to the victims.
Detective Inspector Justine Jenkins from the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire Major Crime Unit said: "This continues to be an incredibly difficult time for the victims' family and we would ask that their privacy is respected as they come to terms with what has happened.

"This investigation is moving at pace and formal identification of the victims is yet to take place.
"Following extensive inquiries, the suspect has been located and nobody else is being sought in connection with the investigation at this time."
In a press conference before Clifford was located, Chief Superintendent Jon Simpson from Hertfordshire Police told reporters the murders are believed to be "targeted".
Clifford is understood to have left the British Army in 2022 following a short period of service.
The hunt for him  focused on a cemetery in the Hilly Fields area of Enfield, north London on Wednesday afternoon. Armed police had also searched a home in Rendlesham Road, Enfield, on Wednesday morning before he was located.
Hunt is one of racing's most popular presenters and commentators. He was working at Lingfield on Tuesday.
Jockeys wore black armbands at race meetings on Wednesday evening and will do so again on Thursday.
A statement issued by Sky Sports Racing, where Hunt regularly anchors shows, read: "Everyone at Sky Sports Racing is deeply saddened by the tragic deaths in Hertfordshire and our thoughts are with our colleague John Hunt, his family and friends, at this awful time."
Those sentiments were echoed by a Racing TV statement, which said: “Everyone at RMG and Racing TV is utterly devastated to hear the tragedy that has befallen the family of John Hunt. Our thoughts, prayers and love are with John.”
Racecourse Assoction Chief Executive David Armstrong and RaceTech Chief Executive John Bozza issued a joint statement: "On behalf of both the Racecourse Association and RaceTech, we are deeply saddened by the tragic news concerning the family of John Hunt. Our thoughts remain with John, his family and friends following this shocking event.
"John is one of British horseracing’s preeminent voices and has been a steadfast supporter of the sport in his time as a racecourse and BBC commentator. We would like to offer our unreserved support to John during this time of grief and stand ready with our colleagues across the sport to help in any way we can."
ITV and Sky Sports Racing commentator Matt Chapman said: “News like this is shocking enough but on a personal level even more so when it involves a friend and colleague you totally respect.
“There are no words here. Just the wish to let John know we love him and racing loves him. There are loads of us who he can talk to should he need or want to.
“John is an outstanding commentator and broadcaster – but he’s also just a lovely bloke.”
As part of a note sent to BBC 5 Live staff on Wednesday, the organisation said: “The news today about John Hunt’s family is utterly devastating.
“Our thoughts are with John and his family at this incredibly difficult time and we will provide him with all the support we can.”
