3.05 Ascot: Limestone
Limestone, a half-brother to the 2021 Irish Derby runner-up Lone Eagle, showed initial promise (over 8f-9f) as a juvenile, but was always considered to be a work in progress. Since fitted with a tongue-tie, and encountering more suitable trips, he’s unbeaten (2-2).
He hit a definite flat spot when winning the Listed Yeats Stakes at Navan (beating Asakir), but responded willingly to Dylan Browne McMonagle’s urgings, never stronger than at the finish.
His dam Modernstone coped with quick ground, which serves to allay any doubts, and he’s likely to relish the combined impact of an extra furlong, plus the stiff Ascot finish.
3.25 Hamilton: Call Margot
Call Margot was an eyecatcher when flashing home behind Naana’s Shadow in the 3yo “Dash” at Epsom twelve days ago, and the handicapper has taken evasive action with a 4lb rise.
However, that was a clear career-best, this lightly raced filly thriving since joining the Osmotherley handler Gemma Tutty. With Connor Beasley back in the saddle (won on her at Southwell in April), she is expected to sit off the pace, before making solid late headway, hitting the line strongly.

ROYAL ASCOT 2026 - PRICE BOOSTS (ANTE-POST RULES APPLY) - Day 2 - Daryz to Win the 2026 Prince Of Wales Stakes 5.20 Hamilton: Tarmonbarry Kid
This 80,000euros yearling has taken a little time to begin to fulfil his potential but, on second start since being gelded, drew considerable benefit from being ridden more positively, knuckling down admirably to make the breakthrough at Doncaster.
With ground conditions again expected to be on the soft side of Good at Hamilton, he’s fancied to negotiate a 6lb rise in a race where a few of his rivals, including Whernside, have questions to answer.
6.10 Ascot: Sergei Diaghilev
Aidan O’Brien introduced his Wootton Bassett colt in the 6f Tally Ho Stud Irish EBF (C&G) Maiden at the Curragh on Irish 2,000 Guineas Day, that race providing the formative educational steps for a whole host of talented stablemates in previous years, including Arizona (Coventry Stakes winner next time) and Henri Matisse (Railway Stakes winner next time).
He should step forward markedly from that, and with the form franked since - second and third both maiden winners – can provide Ballydoyle with their fourth win in the Windsor Castle.
