He was undoubtedly well handicapped after losing his form for David Dennis, but a change of scenery and a wind op has done the trick, and he was travelling well throughout the race last time out.

He has been raised 8lb, which is enough given a literal interpretation of a three and a half-length victory, but Symonds has negated the raise by booking Kevin Brogan who claims 7lb.

He completed a hat-trick in less than three weeks for his previous trainer and I will be very surprised if he is not robust enough to follow up here.

Cool Destination carries top weight on what is likely to be testing conditions, but is the most promising horse in this field and looks very much like he will be suited by these marathon chases.

The course certainly suits his running style of racing prominently, as he demonstrated last time when beating Terrierman easier than the winning margin suggests.

A reverse of 3lb will not be enough for his one-paced rival to get his revenge, though it is not impossible they could provide the forecast once more.
