Top tipster Dave Nevison takes aim at the action at Hamilton and Newmarket (which gets underway at 10.45am) on Thursday, live on Racing TV.
11.45 Newmarket: Angel Gabriel
This lightly-raced, and now gelded, three-year-old makes a late reappearance and handicap debut here, and won’t have needed to improve much to score.
Ralph Beckett's charge has clearly not been the easiest to train, but hasn’t done anything wrong in three starts so far. Even when beaten at odds-on on his second start, the winner went on to be placed in a Group Three on her next outing.
The selection has raced over six furlongs on all three outings, and looks a sprinter.

12.45 Newmarket: Silver Ghost
Mudbir has questions to ask after a puzzling reappearance, and Emma Lavelle’s Silver Ghost looks a more reliable contender in this decent handicap.
The four-year-old filly performs well on the July course, and was unlucky not to score here last time out when she was given too much to do, and just failed to overhaul Superposition, who reopposes on Thursday.
She is just a pound better off with that rival, but the weight pull is less important compared to not getting too far behind early on in the race, and a victory is surely near if things fall right for her.
7.30 Hamilton: Woohoo
Woohoo is probably best known for winning at Musselburgh, and was an unlucky loser there last time out (had to be switched twice before getting a run). She has also scored at the other Scottish flat tracks, and her first success since leaving Ireland came at Hamilton.
She performs consistently well over five furlongs, and ran another typically good race when a close second at Musselburgh last time out. She also finished fourth in another 0-90 handicap (beaten less than a length) at this track three starts ago.
Lauren Young has won on her several times already, too.
