5.48 Kempton: Farasi Lane

Elizabeth Gale’s confidence will be sky high after riding a big winner at The Curragh last weekend, although things had been going very well even before she caught the eye of Joseph O’Brien, so her 7lb claim here looks a big plus here.
Farasi Lane has run three times over this mile trip at Kempton and has won, or been beaten less than ¾ of a length, on all of those runs so he has plenty going for him.
The five-year-old raced over 6f last time, which was too short, and he never got involved from a wide draw. But his previous run over 7f here was more encouraging. He is clearly well handicapped - being 7lb lower than for his latest win - and this looks a decent opportunity to end a losing run.

6.23 Kempton: Midnight’s Dream

Roger Varian’s four-year-old has enjoyed a good first half of 2025, having been on the go since breaking his maiden on his seasonal debut here in January.
He is only a 1lb higher than for his latest start when a good second on turf, and he still looks capable of winning more races in the second half of the year.
Midnight’s Dream looks to have done well with the draw here, being amongst the low numbers with a likely pacesetter drawn just inside him, so he should get a good tow through this race and get on top close home.

6.58 Kempton: Sierra Blanca

Sierra Blanca may be worth chancing at big odds now that the gelding is stepping up to 12 furlongs for the first time.
His dam won the Oaks (beating my horse!) and he is closely related to several middle-distance stayers, so it is perhaps surprising he hasn’t been tried over this trip until now.
He was involved in a slowly run affair last time but should get a much more truly run race here, which I think will suit him much better.
Sierra Blanca’s handicap mark has dropped by 10lb since first run for Martin Meade and he runs off a mark 5lb lower than he has previously gone very close off. The early 25-1 on offer looks good value.
