She’s usually a swift starter but missed a beat at Chester last time and ran into problems. Expect her to be calling the shots from early on under Jack Doughty, whose Actual versus Expected at Nottingham in the past year is an eye-catching 2.48.

Al Hussar ran creditably over 6f at York last weekend, but his best efforts have been over the minimum trip and he drops back to 5f today.
He had previously been beaten a neck over course and distance when he would have won with a swifter start. He was fastest through furlongs 2 and 3, plus among the swiftest in the final 2 furlongs.

The six-year-old has slipped to a favourable mark and hinted his turn was close when runner-up in a stronger race than this at York last time. He was the fastest over the final three furlongs that day.
