Top presenter Angus McNae has four bets for the action over Jumps at Kempton on Sunday, live on Racing TV.
2.50 Kempton: Seeyouinmydreams
This Paul Nicholls-trained mare has won her past two starts and can complete a hat-trick at a track that will suit her front running, and keen going, style. She made all and bolted up at Worcester last time out where, despite looking to be doing too much in front, she raced evenly under Harry Cobden, and that is highlighted by her recording a Finishing Speed Percentage of 100.83%.
She may look like she races too freely, but he is clearly amenable to restraint and can maintain a strong gallop over two miles. I think she will make all the running to win here.
3.25 Kempton: Persian Time
He has a patchy profile over fences, but seemed to be amiss on his past two starts last season and can resume his progress over fences after a break.
He won here in March off a 2lb lower mark before producing those two disappointing efforts, and running over this trip looks to be a good move.
He has only had nine starts and, given that he holds an entry in the Grand Sefton at Aintree, connections seem to retain faith in his ability.
4.00 Kempton: Rubaud
He has won twice at this track over this trip, including a victory in this race last year, and he can repeat the dose here.
The key to him seems to be decent ground, and two miles on a sharp track, and conditions are very much in his favour on Sunday.
After winning this contest 12 months ago, he went on to land the Elite hurdle and then was second to Constitution Hill in the Christmas hurdle.
He struggled to give weight to some progressive rivals in the Scottish Champion hurdle on his final start last season, but everything is in place for a big run now having had a break since that run at Ayr.
5.10 Kempton: Far Sight
Harry Derham turns this horse out under a 7lb penalty for his win at Wincanton earlier in the week and he can carry top weight to success here.
He travelled strongly at Wincanton and readily pulled clear of his rivals to win by over nine lengths. His jumping has been a work in progress, and whilst not foot perfect, he was much better than he had been on his previous outing at Huntingdon.
Indeed, in four starts over hurdles, this is the first time that he has gained lengths with his jumping. He is improving and well-treated, and should score again.
