12.20 Naas: The Lovely Man

Finished: 3rdSP: 8/1
The Lovely Man is having his first run for Gavin Cromwell and that, combined with him having his first start in a handicap, makes him one to be interested in here.
He has shaped promisingly in two starts over fences and even though he ran poorly over hurdles last time out he will be seen to better effect here back over the larger obstacles for his new yard.
2.05 Sandown: Hurricane Pat

Finished: 1stSP: 8/11
Hurricane Pat won two of his bumpers last season and he can make a winning start over hurdles.
Both of those bumper wins came on decent ground, where he proved to be too speedy for his rivals. Provided the ground is not too soft he should have too much know how and pace for his rivals.

3.15 Sandown: Courtland
Angus McNae
Finished: 2ndSP: 6/4
Courtland has a fitness edge over his rivals, having had two recent runs as compared to his rivals who have not been seen in action since last term.
Those two runs showed him to be in good form. He was a decent second at Chepstow last month before unseating nis jockey at Ascot. James Bowen who has won on him five times is back in the saddle and he can prove sharper than his rivals.
3.37 Naas: The Wallpark
Angus McNae
Finished: 11thSP: 5/1
Is an exciting chasing prospect and can get off the mark on his debut over fences. He was easily the best of these over hurdles having been third in the stayers hurdle at Cheltenham and fourth in the Liverpool hurdle.
This two mile trip may be short of his optimum, but he should be too good for his rivals at this level.
