Top presenter Angus McNae takes aim at the action at Tipperary on Sunday and reveals his four best bets. Enjoy all the action live on Racing TV.
3.30 Tipperary: Mississippi River
With the likelihood of a weak pace, I can see Mississippi River making all here under Wayne Lordan. He is a consistent performer who ran well when fifth in a competitive premier handicap at Galway last time out.
The past two speed figures he has produced are the best in the field, and he is more consistent than his rivals. Aidan O'Brien remains in great form and he has found an excellent opportunity for Mississippi River.
4.00 Tipperary: Princess Child
Princess Child produced a career best performance when winning a competitive Galway handicap in a fast time on her latest start, and a repeat of that will see her in the winners' enclosure again.
This is a step up in grade, but the time figure she produced at Galway is one which suggests she will be competitive at this level. She has plenty of decent form when tackling Listed company, too, and now she has hit form, this Group Three is well within her compass.
4.30 Tipperary: Two Stars
This upwardly mobile sprinter is on a hat-trick following wins at the Curragh and Naas, and his latest win was impressive when just pushed out to score readily in a fast time against Listed performers.
He looked ready for a step up to pattern company there, but connections are happy to keep him at Listed level on his first start since April. This is a competitive contest, but he appears the most progressive contender in the race, so as long as he does not need the run after a break, he is sure to go well.
5.30 Tipperary: Glady Eagle
This five-year-old is a rare Polish recruit for Willie Mullins and it is interesting that Colin Keane has been booked to ride on Glady Eagle's first start in Ireland.
His Polish form is tough to equate but he has won a couple of races, including one at this trip. The hope is that he improves for joining Willie Mullins, and is well ahead of his handicap mark (60).
This contest will not take much winning, and he is an intriguing runner.
