Letsbefrank, who became the first horse to win three races in the Sky Bet Sunday Series and earn connections a £100,000 bonus in 2024, took his first step towards landing another huge payout with a last-gasp victory in the
Sky Bet For The Fans Handicap at Musselburgh on Sunday.
Jim Goldie's charge was returning from a 216-day break, and drifted to 20-1 before the off, but stormed home under 5lb claimer Lauren Young, who delivered her mount to perfection.
Watch: Letsbefrank gets his head in front in the shadows of the post
The six-year-old failed to record a victory last season, and had not won since recording his third Sky Bet Sunday Series victory in August 2025. As a result, his mark had plummeted to a rating of 69, 7lb below his last winning mark.
The winning-rider said on Racing TV: "He's a bit of a yard favourite at home. He's just been getting a bit upset in the stalls, so the aim today was to just get him out, and sit him where he was happy. He jumped not too bad, and was quite happy to sit last. We turned in, and he started passing them, and he enjoys being ridden like that. He kept finding, and that was good for his first run back.
"I thought, a furlong out, that we would definitely run in to a place, and he just kept quickening! I'm delighted."
It will be a surprise if connections do not target the £100,000 bonus again this season, and while he will be raised a few pounds for this victory, he should remain on the right side of the handicapper based on his form from 2024.

Persuasion a contender for the £100k bonus?
Persuasion recorded his second victory from three outings at Musselburgh when landing the
Sky Bet Price Boosts Handicap by a short-head under Callum Rodriguez.
The nine-year-old failed to sparkle on his first two starts this season, and scored here off a rating 3lb below his last winning mark.
He will receive a small rise from the handicapper for this victory, and was rated 91 12 months ago, so connections may have one eye on the £100,000 Sky Bet Sunday Series bonus.
Racing TV pundit Martin Dwyer also believes he has a chance of landing the huge prize this year. Dwyer said: "When he gets the right set up, he's pretty good, so he could well be the one from today's winners who has the best chance of landing the £100,000 bonus."
