Marsha given green light for Lady Aurelia clash at Breeders' Cup

Marsha has been given the green light to head to Del Mar for a rematch with Lady Aurelia in the Breeders' Cup Turf Sprint.
Sir Mark Prescott's flying filly earned her spot for the big race after she defeated the American speedball by a nose in the Nunthorpe Stakes at York.
It will be the third time the fillies have met after Marsha was just over three lengths third behind her rival in the King's Stand Stakes at Royal Ascot in June.
Marsha is a best-priced 5-1 behind 11-8 favourite Lady Aurelia.
The four-year-old was last seen finishing runner-up to Battaash in the Prix de l'Abbaye at Chantilly and was expected to go straight to the December Mare Sale.
But her owners Elite Racing Club have now decided to have one more big roll of the dice in the five-furlong sprint.
"The plan is to head to America," Elite Racing manager Dan Downie said.
"It was always an option after York given that was a win-and-you're-in race.
"We'd had it in the back of our minds but a lot depended on what happened in Chantilly and yet again she ran another tremendous race behind Battaash.
"It was an easy decision in the end. If she'd disappointed then we'd wouldn't be going, but I've been to see her since she returned from France and she looks tremendous.
"She's always been a good traveller. Her races in Ireland and France have never taken any more out of her.
"It will be interesting to see how she gets on. There's a long run to the first bend, which should hopefully help her, and she's always finished her races strongly.
"Crucially she should get her ground, as even though she ran well in the Abbaye is was a bit soft for her.
"It's a complete unknown but we've got nothing to lose.
"It's all a bit last minute so I'm not sure how many of the syndicate will be going out, but we do have members in America so I'm sure they'll try and get across."
