This afternoon's jumps meeting at Sedgefield must pass a fourth inspection at noon.Course officials must assess conditions later after a first inspection at 7.30am, and then further checks at 9.30am and 11am, proved inconclusive as "some areas of filled ground are currently frozen". Temperatures have dropped to as low as minus 3C, but it is forecast to rise to a maximum daytime high of 4C. A tweet from the racecourse read: "A further inspection will be at 12pm however conditions are improving. We thank you for your patience." The going is soft, good to soft in places.
