Ross Millar has four best bets for Saturday's action, including two from Haydock Park - live on Racing TV.
1.15 Haydock: Tellherthename
Badly lost his way when switched from Ben Pauling to Jonjo O'Neill, but as a consequence has slipped to a mark of just 133.
When viewed through his form in the 2024 Fighting Fifth, this suggests he's very well-handicapped.
Soft ground didn't suit when making his debut for this yard in the County Hurdle, but this better ground and flat track give him optimal conditions.
2.20 Ascot: Hickory (E/W)
Enjoys it here at Ascot - from ten starts, he's only finished out of the frame twice. He has excellent form when fresh and is well drawn in stall 17.
The form of his effort when second here on his final start looks strong with the winner now rated 8lb higher having run well in Group Three company since. He has strong each-way claims.

3.55 Hexham: Conquer The Breeze
Has his first start for Adam Nicol after the retirement of previous trainer Maurice Barnes. He's 15lb lower over fences than hurdles, but does have winning form over fences so as such I consider him well-handicapped.
Halfway House Lad won on his first start for new connections last week and Conquer The Breeze can follow that pattern.
4.15 Haydock: Son
A talented, but frustrating horse, as a record of one win from 15 would suggest. However, he's dropped 25lb in two seasons with Richard Hannon before shaping well on his first start for Tim Easterby at Thirsk, pulling hard early on but finishing strongly in the closing stages.
If able to settle better this time, he's well up to winning off this mark.
