Saturday tips from Johnny Ward: "He makes huge each-way appeal"

Irish trainers send horses across to Britain for four different meetings on Saturday – from Aidan O'Brien running a pair in the Darley Dewhurst Stakes, to Emmet Mullins running two in the Club Godolphin Cesarewitch Handicap Cesarewitch, and Cormac Farrell unusually, having runners in bumpers at two English venues.
The Irish Stallion Farms EBF Birdcatcher Premier Nursery Handicap as Naas has attracted eight runners, a bizarrely small field, with easy ground likely at the County Kildare venue.
I have a fancy in that contest, plus two others across Naas and Fairyhouse, both live on Racing TV.

2.50 Naas: Pink Venom
This doesn't appear a strong renewal of the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Birdcatcher Premier Nursery Handicap, and this filly appeals as the most likely winner.
She finds plenty for pressure, which is another positive.
5.00 Fairyhouse: Granlahan (Nap)
A 2lb rise for his recent Killarney effort has to be considered lenient, given how well-fancied the rivals who sandwiched him were, and he makes huge each-way appeal here.
5.15 Naas: Fort Vega
He needs things to fall right, but everything looks in place for a good run back in handicaps here at one of the few venues at which he has won at before.
