Archie Watson believes So Hi Society has plenty in her favour in the Longines Irish Champions Weekend EBF Stallions Star Stakes at Sandown on Thursday.
While she has only won one of her four races, her last two efforts have been in exalted company.
Third to the smart Dance Diva at Newmarket, she was then not disgraced behind Aidan O'Brien's Clemmie in the Duchess of Cambridge Stakes.
"She's run well in good races the last twice and is a very nice filly," said Watson. "I've always felt that cut in the ground really suits her and she should get that.
"She's out of a Spectrum mare mare so cut in the ground and an extra furlong should be right up her street. I'd hope she has a very strong chance."
Karl Burke has enjoyed a fruitful few days with winners in France but now the Leybourn handler is eyeing some black type closer to home with Ellthea.
A winner at Carlisle in a race which has worked out extremely well, she was then due to run in the same Newmarket race as So Hi Society against Dance Diva but broke through the stalls.
"She's in great form and we think the step up in trip will help her," said Burke. "The bit of cut in the ground will suit her as well and we're hoping for a good run.
"Getting a bit of black type is important with these fillies, so fingers crossed.
"The horses seem to have clicked into gear the last couple of weeks, which is great."
