Monday tips: Ross Millar fancies a Karl Burke debutant at Carlisle

Karl Burke's yard have hit a rich vein of form with their juveniles in the last two weeks. Light Of Dawn's dam Al Ghalanta has produced five individual juvenile winners, four of which have won on their debuts. That's a genetic trait of note and this, coupled with the powerful connections she represents, makes her the selection here.

Heddon Street looked smart when winning on his sole start last season, but it's concerning to see him fitted with first time cheekpieces on this seasonal return.

Preference is for Vichenza. She shaped promisingly in third on her debut last month, running home well to eventually finish just under two lengths behind the 85-rated winner.

Runners from the Beckett yard invariably improve for their first start and that progression should see her go close here. 

Has shown a degree of promise on each of his three qualifying runs racing over seven furlongs and a mile, often racing freely and therefore compromising his stamina.

He looks interesting dropping back to six furlongs on his handicap debut.
