Roger Varian has Prix de l'Opera in mind for Nezwaah

The Prix de l'Opera at Chantilly is a possible end-of-season target for Nezwaah following her eclipse in last week's Yorkshire Oaks.
Roger Varian's filly was an impressive winner of the Pretty Polly Stakes at the Curragh in early July and stepped up to a mile and a half for the first time on the Knavesmire.
The four-year-old was no match for the brilliant Enable, but was far from disgraced in finishing fourth and she is likely to come back in trip on her next appearance, with a trip to France under consideration.
Varian said: "She's come out of the race well. The ground was a bit sticky for her and I think we'll probably drop her back to a mile and a quarter.
"We'll look at something like the Prix de l'Opera with her."
Another Kremlin House inmate to perform well in defeat at York was Madeline.
Following a dominant display in the Rose Bowl Stakes at Newbury, the daughter of Kodiac was a major contender for the Lowther Stakes and finished a clear second behind the Mark Johnston-trained Threading.
Varian's charge could make a relatively swift return in the Bathwick Tyres Dick Poole Fillies' Stakes at Salisbury on Thursday week.
"She's come out of race very well, she's in the Cheveley Park (Newmarket, September 30) and I think that would suit her," the trainer added.
"Whether we can get another run in beforehand, we'll have to see. There's the Dick Poole at Salisbury next week, so that could be an option.
"I don't like blaming the draw, but she had to race out on the wing at York and you can't take them back because it's such a quick six furlongs.
"I'm not saying we'd have won as the winner won well, but it wasn't ideal."
