Roger Varian eyeing Group One glory for Realtra

Realtra is set to have another crack at a Group One after collecting her second Irish Group Three prize of the campaign with a classy performance in the Coolmore Stud Fairy Bridge Stakes at Tipperary on Thursday.
Though she has twice failed at the top level, the Roger Varian-trained five-year-old again demonstrated her ability by defying a 3lb penalty for her triumph in the Brownstown Stakes at Fairyhouse in July.
"Realtra has been a remarkable performer this season and she has really vindicated the patience afforded to her by Mr (Yasushi) Kubota (owner)," the Newmarket trainer told www.varianstable.com.
"Defying a penalty was no mean feat here and we might give her one final tilt at Group One company before the season draws to a close."
Realtra holds an entry in the Kingdom Of Bahrain Sun Chariot Stakes at Newmarket on October 7.
