Page Fuller has two tips with the help of the RaceiQ data

Sandown stages two Group Three races today and it’s a runner in the first of them, Blue Bolt in the BetMGM Atalanta Stakes (2.25), that has particularly caught the eye.
This Juddmonte-owned filly, trained by Andrew Balding, was successful in the Listed Coral Distaff over the same course and distance last time, and this looks an ideal opportunity for her star to rise even further.
There were clear signs when she won a fillies’ novice event at Newbury in June that she was an above average performer.
She ran home in a time 1.81 seconds quicker than our Par Time for the race, which our Time Index rated as 8 out of 10. This is the highest time index clocked by any in today’s line up.
Colin Keane tells us more about Blue Bolt after her latest win at Sandown
The sustained speed she demonstrated in victory last time was also very taking.
She was the only horse to record a Top Speed faster than 39 mph (39.23mph), and it was at least 0.3 mph quicker than any other runner. Even more impressively, she recorded this figure in the second furlong of the race and still sustained it to the line with a Finishing Speed Percentage higher than 102%.
The horses that finished in second, third or fourth all hit their Top Speeds in the sixth and seventh furlongs.
The two performances that I’ve highlighted set the standard in terms of form, too, so I have every faith that she can successfully step up in class.
At Chester, you may not need the data to tell you that being drawn high is far from desirable, but our Draw Advantage metric does a pretty good job of contextualising it.
None more so than in the Virgin Bet Supports Safe Gambling Handicap over seven and a half furlongs (3.15).
Sir Paul Ramsey is in a prime position to continue his progression and build on his half-length defeat at York last week. He is drawn in stall 2, which our RaceiQ Draw Advantage metric rates the best; historically handing its occupants a 0.85 length advantage.
By contrast, the fancied pair of El Burhan and Two Tempting each start with a disadvantage of around 0.6 lengths from their respective gates.
Sir Paul Ramsey’s sectionals in defeat at York also point to why dropping back half a furlong will suit him. He ran a brave race in front setting the fractions, but unfortunately just ran out of steam in the closing stages.
He quickened up nicely three furlongs from home but completed the final furlong 0.44 seconds slower than the winner, Fifth Column.
His rider today, Joe Fanning, also operates with a productive 1.25 actual vs expected rate at Chester over the past 12 months, meaning that he has ridden more winners than the odds expected him to in that period.
