Mr Clarkson recorded his fourth victory from just seven starts with an assured victory in the Betfred Hurdle Series Final at Sedgefield.A dual winner at Exeter in January and successful at this course the following month, David Pipe's five-year-old then proved no match for Sneaky Feeling at Sandown. However, on his handicap debut having made the round trip of over 600 miles to County Durham once more, the 6-1 shot travelled strongly towards the front under conditional jockey David Noonan and got the better of Bollin Ace after the final flight to score by a length and a quarter.Pipe said: "He's been a great horse who has just kept surprising us. He isn't the biggest and he had a big weight, but he's a little battler and has done it well."We were a little disappointed with him at Sandown, but at the same time he bumped into a good horse."It was a 75th victory for Noonan, meaning he loses his 3lb claim."It's great for David. It's good he's done it for us and he's won all four races on this horse as well, which is nice," said Pipe."He works hard and hopefully he'll continue to do well and has a big future in front of him."Hint Of Grey (13-8) continued her good run of form in the Betfred 'Supports Jack Berry House' Mares' Novices' Hurdle.Little Miss Poet was the odds-on favourite to provide Philip Hobbs with his first winner at the track - which would have completed a full set in Britain - but Don Cantillon's recent Fakenham scorer Hint Of Grey saw her off by a length and three-quarters.Cantillon said: "Before she ever ran as a two-year-old, she wouldn't have beaten my Border terrier up the gallop!"Her first three runs were terrible as she didn't beat a single horse home, but then she won first time out as a three-year-old and she just seems to be improving all the time. She's amazing."She's had three races in 24 days now and in the whole time she's probably only done three sprints at home, the rest of it has been cantering and being on the walker."You've got to have confidence to under-train these fillies sometimes and we've kept her good and fresh."We want to make the most of her while she's still a novice, so unless she tells me different, she'll probably have one more run over hurdles in April and then go back on the Flat."Boric was a 10-1 winner of the Betfred 'Treble Odds On Lucky 15's' Handicap Chase.Northumberland-based trainer Simon Waugh felt a number of factors contributed in his return to form."I'm absolutely over the moon. He's had a bit of a mediocre season, to be honest. It's been frustrating, but I always felt there were more races to be won with him," said Waugh."I think they went a bit quick down to the first fence for him at Doncaster last time and stepping up to three and a quarter miles has probably helped him. The extended trip along with the blinkers and being ridden a bit more positively seems to have helped him."Now he's proved he stays, it opens up many more doors for him and hopefully we'll get another couple of runs in before the end of the season."He's a beautiful, long-striding individual and days like this are important to a small yard like ours."Ken Slack's Onwiththeparty (5-1) bolted up in the Betfred 'Racing's Biggest Supporter' Handicap Hurdle, before the Donald McCain-trained 11-8 favourite Whitsundays eventually mowed down the 14-year-old Hi Dancer to land the Betfred Mobile Novices' Handicap Chase.Bordeaux Bill (8-13) rewarded odds-on backers in the Betfred TV Novices' Hurdle, and the concluding Betfred 'Home Of Goals Galore' Handicap Hurdle went to 5-1 joint-favourite Pikarnia, trained by Rebecca Menzies.
