3.30 Bath: Artista
She's been mildly disappointing on her last few runs on the all-weather but I expect her to enjoy getting back on this good to firm ground as they were when she showed smart pace when winning at Beverley this time last year. Trainer Ollie Sangster is in good form operating at a 29% strike rate.
4.45 Lingfield: Mighty Vega
Has run well on both attempts at this trip winning off a mark of 67 in March before getting collared close to the line when runner-up off a mark of 70 last time. A 2lb rise will make thinks tough but his apprentice jockey does lighten the burden with his 5lb claim. Over a course and distance that suits well he has strong each-way claims.
7.15 Naas: Getreadytorumble
A cracking field given the purse, with Jack Channon bidding to improve on an excellent run of form for the yard. This speedy gelding was exceptionally reliable at three, looks worth a go now at six furlongs and should have a good pace set up for one who will be delivered late. An open race but 8-1 appeals.
7.45 Naas: Son Of Beauty
His run in the Madrid, given his background, was encouraging, and he is well worth sending back over a mile on that evidence. Trojan Warrior and Controlled, who take up so much of the market, are very much opposable. Bookmakers pay four places and 14s is available about the Thorne runner.
