Monday tips: Andy Stephens seeks a similar return

Monday’s fare is very much after the Lord Mayor’s Show following the riches of Royal Ascot last week but I’ve got four short-priced fancies who I will be sticking in a Yankee.

3.15 Chepstow: Endowed

This looks a good opportunity for the grey to follow up his win here last week.
He showed a willing attitude to get on top in the closing stages, with the first two pulling clear. The eight-year-old hinted that success was on the cards in his two previous start this term.
has a 4lb penalty to shoulder and is bumping into half a dozen three-year-olds but Callum Hutchinson, on board for the first time last week, retains the ride and the RaceiQ data confirms the combination have the best of the draw.

6.58 Windsor: Nogo’s Dream

The Richard Hughes-trained five-year-old has been called a few names, perhaps not surprisingly given his tendency to carry his head high and been runner-up in a dozen of his 32 races, while getting the job done on only three occasions.
However, his consistency is hard to fault, and he’s scored at Chelmsford and this track since the spring.
You can put a line through his run in the Dash at Epsom last time as he was 5lb out of the handicapped, dwelt at the start and found some trouble.
He’s back in much shallower waters here and Oisin Murphy, aboard him for the first time when scoring over course and distance last month, is belatedly reunited. The combination can pick off front-runners Zoulu Chief , who has had a wind op since last in action, and Night On Earth in the closing stages.

7.30 Windsor: Orionis

She’s not going to much of a price but looks banker material. I’d expect Tom Marquand to keep it simple and make all.
The daughter of Sea The Stars has Almazor as an Uncle and her half-brother, Yaanaas, quickly developed into a horse rated in the low 90s before being taken too soon.
steps into handicap company with an initial rating of 77, having made the most of a simple task from the front at Ripon last time.
It’s her form before that which makes her look most favourably treated. She had split Al Wasl Storm and Ammes on her penultimate start, with the latter since finishing a good sixth in the King George V Stakes at Royal Ascot off a mark of 86.
And before that she had finished a fair third to Victoria Harbour at Wetherby, with the winner subsequently following up in Listed company at Goodwood.
Her much more exposed older rivals must concede 11lb and upwards. They face a thankless task.

8.00 Windsor: Twilight Moon

has yet to win after eight starts, but she’s hit the post a few times and moving up in trip to 1m 4f can help her get off the mark.
She’s had the misfortune to bump into Pomme Pomme on her past two starts and that highly progressive performer completed a five-timer in decisive style at Haydock on Saturday.
stuck to her task gamely when getting with a length of Pomme Pomme over 1m 2f at Bath last time, pulling more than five lengths clear of the third.
A 3lb rise for that effort looks lenient, especially with the winner going in again off a 7lb higher rating over the weekend, and the extra two furlongs should also be no bother. Her dam, Shifting Moon, was a stayer and she looks to have inherited plenty of her stamina.
