Top presenter Angus McNae struck with Honest Moon (3-1) at Meydan last week and is back to mark your card for Friday's action, all live on Racing TV.
2.05 Meydan: Wesam
Wesam has only had a couple of starts, and after winning on debut, he shaped with abundant promise in defeat at Kempton in a race where he was denied a clear run.
A rating of 84 looks generous given his potential, and although he has a wide draw in stall 12, the booking of Adrie de Vries catches the eye. He can take a step forward and win this handicap for Saeed bin Suroor.

3.50 Meydan: Galactic Star
Galactic Star is the clear form pick after chasing home Heart Of Honor last time out. He was a bit below his best that day on what was his seasonal reappearance, and he can build on that performance in a contest where there is no rival of the calibre of Heart Of Honor to contend with.
The selection is well draws in stall two to adopt a handy position, and I can see him dominating this race on the rail for the in-form Bhupat Seemar team.

5.00 Meydan: Vespasian
Vespasian is seen to best effect when fresh, and he is likely to be at his best here following a 97-day absence.
The last time he returned from a break was when he finished an excellent second in the Shergar Cup Dash at Ascot off a rating of 95, and he races here off an official rating of 94.
He was a comfortable winner at Meydan last season, and his form figures over this straight sprint course read 121. He rates as a strong play here.

6.10 Meydan: Mothecombe
Mothecombe was well supported when winning a novice stakes at Newmarket in September and the rival he beat easily there went on to win a competitive handicap off a rating of 90.
Given that Mothecombe gets to race off the same mark here, that suggests he may be well treated, and he is open to plenty of improvement, with this being just his third start.
He displayed a sharp turn of foot at Newmarket and with late pace being important on the turf course here, he looks to be the ideal type for a winter at this track.
