Martin Dixon struck with Cheltenham winner Three Card Brag (advised at 14-1) in his Inside Angle column last week and returns with three bets for Newmarket on Saturday, and another 14-1 chance is among his picks! Watch every race live on Racing TV.
1.07 Newmarket: Morning Rose
A daughter of Dubawi, Morning Rose was well backed to make a winning start at Newcastle a few weeks ago and although that may not have been the strongest of races, I was very impressed with her professionalism through the race, and I also loved how strongly she hit the line, tearing away in the final 100 yards.
This is a different test, up in class and switching to turf, but I expect the step up to a mile to be in her favour, and there should be a significant amount of improvement.
There isn't anything setting a notably high standard in this race and I'm happy to take the general odds of 4-1, at the time of writing.

2.50 Newmarket: Dashing Dick
Although it has been a winless season so far for Dashing Dick, his past two runs have indicated that he is ready to strike soon, and I hope that this drop back to 6f will work the oracle.
His most recent outing was in a competitive 0-80 handicap at Yarmouth, and he travelled strongly close to the pace plus only gave way well inside the final furlong.
He's edged back down to his lowest mark since he was last successful in July last year, and I like the set-up of this race because there are lots of hold-up horses in opposition. I'm there hoping his usual prominent position will be an advantage.

3.25 Newmarket: Erzindjan (each-way)
If simply looking at official ratings, you'd give Erzindjan little chance in this Listed contest but he'd be rated higher if he'd had a bit more luck in either of his past two outings.
In the bet365 Cambridgeshire, I thought he was very unlucky because he was on the wrong side of the track as the race played out, and thundered home to be beaten less than two lengths, shaping extremely well.
At York last time out, he met loads of trouble in running and would surely have gone close with a clear run. I think he's absolutely thriving, and with a strong pace forecast here, I'm strong on him each-way at odds of 14-1, at the time of writing.
