1.55 Ascot: Annaf (E/W)

It's taken a while for Annaf to come to himself this year, but at Newcastle a couple of weeks ago he ran easily his best race of 2026 and is very well-handicapped on the pick of his form last year, including a Group Three win at this track in October.
He drops to five furlongs, but has always had plenty of pace, placed in the King's Stand here in 2023 after all, and I think a strong pace and middle draw will help him to get the cover he needs to be seen to best effect.
2.02 York: Dubai Champion

There's been run-to-run progress from Dubai Champion in his three starts so far and I felt when I saw him at Hamilton last month that he was making leaps forward physically and mentally all of the time.
He clocked a good time in bolting up at Hamilton that day and appeals to me as a fast, straightforward and progressive juvenile that starts life on a mark of 83 - and I think he's better than that.

2.15 Newmarket: Song N Dance

The Sean Woods-trained filly Song N Dance has barely put a foot wrong over the last 12 months and is just the sort of strong-travelling, forward going filly that I like on the July Course at Newmarket.
She's been progressing over a mile, but I get the impression that dropping back a furlong in distance will play to her strengths and a two-month break doesn't bother me at all as she has gone well fresh before.
