Top tipster and pundit Martin Dixon shares his selections for Royal Ascot and Redcar (live on Racing TV) on Saturday, and a 66-1 chance is among his three fancies! Click here for more Saturday selections from our team of experts. 3.05 Ascot: Goliath
The last time Goliath ran at Ascot, he caused a shock in the 2024 King George VI And Queen Elizabeth Qipco Stakes when easily beating Bluestocking and Rebel's Romance. Although he hasn't bettered that since, he's had a great preparation coming back here this year, and I got the impression with how he travelled and quickened at Chantilly last time that he's really thriving again.
A strong pace suits him, and he should get that here. I also like his draw in stall 10 as Christophe Soumillon can be patient, and be able to sweep around them with a clear run up the straight.
3.22 Redcar: Schrodinger's Cat (Nap)
This looks a good opportunity for Schrodinger's Cat to get back to winning ways after excellent placed efforts at Chester and York already this year.
He won his maiden over this C&D last year and has enhanced his form since, particularly last time out when he showed bright speed, and enthusiasm, only to be collared well inside the final furlong.
He's the fastest contender in this small-field affair, and I'd expect him to get an easy enough time on the front end plus be hard to pass.

3.40 Ascot: Jasour (each-way)
We've become accustomed to shocks on this straight track at Ascot, and although I couldn't have a confident bet, I do think 66-1 about Jasour is worth snapping up at a track he runs so well at.
He won here in his 3yo season before a good third in the Commonwealth Cup, and in this corresponding event last year, he was a never-nearer sixth, but I thought he could've finished closer.
He's his own worst enemy at times because he pulls so hard, but they'll go flat out here, which can only help, and I like the booking of Rossa Ryan from a high draw.
