The top tipster and Racing TV pundit has three selections at York, all live on Racing TV. 1.55 York: Golden Strike
I'm not sure this is quite as competitive as most York handicaps and Golden Strike impressed me when returning from a break over seven furlongs here at this track on his most recent start, getting on top late on, and on several occasions I've felt he's a horse that'll improve again when stepped up to a mile which he's granted here.
Having made a bright start to his career, winning two of his first three starts, he lost his form last year but since fitted with a visor has got back on the up and I think a 3 lb rise for that latest success underestimates him.

2.25 York: Our Cody (Each Way)
Going through the pace map in sprint races in particular is a crucial element to my form study and I suspect they'll be scorching along on the front end in this three-year-old handicap and with likes of Allsortz and Naana's Shadow in low draws I'm optimistic this will set up well for the strong-travelling Our Cody, drawn in stall six.
She latched on in the early part of a listed event at Sandown last time and a more contested pace would've suited better but she still ran with a lot of credit to finish fourth and I'm a little surprised the handicapper barely moved her for that effort.
2.25 York: Hallo Spaceboy (NAP)
A progressive colt from Ed Walker's yard ridden by Oisin Murphy isn't going to be missed by the market but I'll be disappointed if Hallo Spaceboy can't land this six furlong handicap.
He's shaped well on every single one of his career runs to date and was second in a very strong race for the grade at Ascot when last seen, run down only late on having got to the front going well inside the penultimate furlong.
He's drawn near to Percy's Star who I'd expect to make the running and carry Hallo Spaceboy deep into the race and his smart pedigree and rangy physique both also suggest there's plenty more to come.
