Mark Rowntree marks your card for Wednesday's action from Goodwood, Redcar and Leicester, all live on Racing TV. 1.50 Goodwood: Infraad
Infraad finished a place behind Hatteen at Nottingham in April but looked the part next time when galloping on remorselessly to thrash Asia Force at Pontefract.
A slow start scuppered his chance when sent off odds-on favourite on recent handicap debut at Chester, but there was still merit to that effort at a track which wouldn’t have been the ideal fit.
His dam Ferdoos, a 1m4f Listed winner, was responsible for foaling the 2017 Pretty Polly Stakes heroine Nezwaah. Therefore, moving up in trip should suit this lightly raced Haggas three-year-old, who holds a notable entry in the Group 2 Great Voltigeur Stakes at next month’s Ebor Festival.
2.25 Goodwood: Wild Blossom
Wild Blossom sparkled on debut at Carlisle, putting 10 lengths between herself and the subsequent Deauville Listed winner/Molecomb Stakes hopeful Crownbreaker.
To some extent, she was a disappointment (10th) in the Queen Mary at Royal Ascot, but that was also a valuable learning experience for not only the filly herself, but for her trainer Karl Burke, and jockey James Doyle.
She simply did too much too soon at Ascot and, if able to deploy her potent turn of foot in a timelier manner at Goodwood, she’ll be right back on track for a productive second half of the season.

3.50 Redcar: Borjina
Homestrait and Sandy Craic arrive in decent form, but Ed Bethell’s Borjina is less exposed after just four starts.
The short-odds Catterick novice winner missed the break on handicap debut at Wetherby, but was back on song when chasing home, the subsequent Newbury scorer Accademia at Doncaster latest.
Raised 2lb, she tackles a mile for the first time, and her pedigree suggests that the extra yardage will suit.
5.55 Leicester: Fairy Well
Fairy Well, a 180,000gns yearling, shaped encouragingly when fourth to her well-supported stablemate Ash Tree on her Nottingham debut. That form has been well advertised since by the runner-up, the now 89-rated Hamilton scorer Nicely.
Interestingly, Jane Chapple-Hyam stated in a post-race interview that both horses had undertaken minimal turf work (trained on the all-weather) prior to that race so, four weeks on, you’d imagine this Dark Angel filly is likely to be more streetwise.
6.27 Leicester: Amber Ocean
Amber Ocean, off a three-and-a-half-month break, knuckled down to land a recent five-furlong Chepstow novice, and will undoubtedly stay further in time – she's a half-sister to three winners (7f-8.6f).
She split Lover Girl and Pershaada on her Wolverhampton debut in April, and with that pair now rated 85 & 96 respectively, she’s potentially thrown in on this nursery debut from an opening mark of 74.
