Our Tipstar champion, Katie Midwinter, likes the look of runners at Chester, Sandown and York on Saturday, live on Racing TV.
2.10 Chester: Copper Knight
The course-and-distance winner finished a neck second to Democracy Dilemma at the track last month, before finishing third at his beloved York. Now 4lb below his last winning mark, this veteran still possesses plenty of ability and, with crucial course form in his favour, holds leading claims.
2.40 Sandown: Symbology
The Havana Grey filly made a winning start to her career with success over Nighteyes at York before finishing third in Group company at Ascot and York. Her form has since tailed off, but she may have needed the run on reappearance at Newbury, failing to make an impression from the rear of the field, and this drop in trip could suit. Champion jockey William Buick is aboard for Clive Cox, and Symbology represents plenty of value at double-figure odds. She is capable of making the frame if able to return to her earlier form.
2.45 Chester: Box To Box
rarely disappoints at Chester with form figures of 1161212 at the track. He was narrowly beaten by City Streak last time but is on better terms at the weights this time around and has a preferable draw to his reopposing rival. Aidan Keeley claims a useful 3lb, easing his top-weight carrying burden, and, despite being on a career-high mark, this five-year-old can be competitive on a track he clearly relishes.
3.35 York: Pocklington
The Blue Point colt is unexposed in handicap company and, given the level of form he's shown in three starts, appears well-handicapped on a mark of 96.
He beat Coventry Stakes second Army Ethos, when the colt was rated 110, in a Newcastle novice race, and finished a respectable fifth the Listed Carnarvon Stakes when last seen, narrowly behind 102-rated Malc, plus ahead of 100-rated Room Service.
He faced talented opposition at Newbury but held his own among higher rated horses, suggesting he could be extremely dangerous on his current mark on handicap debut.
3.50 Sandown: Chorus
This is a competitive heat featuring plenty of runners but the William Haggas-trained daughter of Kingman stands out. She receives weight from the colts and has experience in her favour as she makes her fourth racecourse appearance.
The form of her third at Ascot when last seen has been franked by winner, Diamond Rain, who subsequently landed a Listed contest in impressive fashion.
finished behind 425,000gns filly Strutting on her penultimate start, who was competitive in the Listed Agnes Keyser Stakes last week, and considering the level of form she has shown against some high-class opposition, she holds excellent claims.
