Our Tipstar champion, Katie Midwinter, is taking aim at Saturday's feature at The Curragh and her other fancies include a 12/1 chance at Market Rasen. Watch how all her selections run on Racing TV.
Champions: Full Gallop. Don't miss episode one on ITV on Friday night at 9pm. . 2.00 Curragh: Powerful Lady
The Hello Youmzain filly finished a promising fourth on debut at Cork, less than a length behind winner Rock N Roll Rocket, who was narrowly ahead of Powerful Nation.
Powerful Nation is now rated 100 following a subsequent maiden victory that preceded a close second in a Listed Tipperary contest.
Based on that form, an opening mark of 72 appears lenient for Powerful Lady, who has had excuses for two disappointing runs since then.
She was short of room and struggled for a clear run when beaten at Beverley on her penultimate start, before failing to handle the undulations at Down Royal when last seen.
This test should be more to suit and she could be well ahead of her mark on handicap debut.
2.05 Market Rasen: Nayati
At this stage in his career, the step up in trip could suit ten-year-old Nayati, who should also strip fitter for his return at Cartmel.
He's 11lb below his last winning mark and shouldn't have any ground concerns, given he has won on a range of surfaces.
Appearing well-handicapped if he is able to return to form, the gelding could be worth sticking with at enticing double-figure odds. He's a best-priced 12/1 and holds strong each-way claims if back to his best.
2.35 Curragh: Mr Wagyu
Won this race two years ago and has finished third in two other competitive sprints on visits to this track. The general 6/1 chance holds strong each-way claims as he attempts to regain his title.
The admirable nine-year-old, versatile regards the ground, was touched off in an Epsom sprint last month, and has subsequently put up two respectable efforts.
He's 7lb below his last winning mark, when taking this prize, and the return to the scene of his last win could allow him to reignite that winning spark.
3.40 Curragh: Dare To Dream
The daughter of Camelot has plenty of experience at Group level, running consistently well in competitive races since winning on her debut at Deauville.
A Group Three winner, she was last seen finishing fifth in the Prix de Diane at Chantilly, staying on well in the circumstances at big odds.
The step up in distance should suit on pedigree, and could allow her to reverse form with Content, who beat her over a mile at The Curragh last season.
There is plenty to like about the progressive Dare To Deam, who could show the best of her ability over this longer trip. The 8/1 on offer appeals.
