Irish racing tips: Johnny Ward's best bets for Sunday

Cian Collins is a fine young trainer, and if he gets this seven-year-old anywhere near back to his best, he will be a 'good thing' here, in my opinion. 

Moreover, Collins has also booked Danny Gilligan, which is another positive.

It has been almost six years since Notforalongtime won on turf, but his effort, when third at the Curragh last time out from the highest draw, suggests he is ready to score again. 

That marked a second really solid effort on turf, yet he retains a relatively low rating (53).

Ridden for the first time by Colin Keane, and stepped up to nearly 14 furlongs at Gowran Park, he fared much better to finish third.

He makes plenty of appeal now trying two miles here.
