7.00 Sligo: Granlahan
The first hurdler Ado McGuinness trained that I remember is Victram, a Lartigue Hurdle winner who also landed the Imperial Cup over 20 years ago.
This hurdler has nearly identical silks to Victram, and looks sure to win races on the basis of his third at Limerick in May, which although was a controversial race, it looks solid form.
Dropping back in distance looks very likely to suit, too.
8.00 Sligo: Tradonthebay
Paul Gilligan gets credit for the easy win of Jerry From Kerry (ex-Emmet Mullins) at Punchestown on Sunday, and it enhances the appeal of Tradonthebay here.
The selection has shaped very nicely on nice ground in two maidens recently, including here, and this is a 0-100 handicap, so he has plenty in his favour.
