Lord Yeats has several options going forward after a creditable run in France.
Jedd O’Keeffe’s stayer finished fifth, beat just over five lengths by the high-class Vazirabad in a Group Two at ParisLongchamp.
A Listed winner last term, O’Keeffe would love to win a Group Three before the season is out, but the Irish St Leger is still possible after finishing fifth in it last year.
“We were very proud of him in France. It was a competitive, truly-run race so we were delighted with him,” said O’Keeffe.
“He’s in the Curragh Cup and he’ll also be entered in the Irish Leger in the hope that all the best Irish stayers don’t turn up. There’s also the Grand Cup at York to think about.
“What I really want to do with him is win a Group Three and then work our way up the scale.”
