Hugo Palmer looking to The Revenant as Racing Post Trophy possible

Hugo Palmer is represented by four of the 81 entries in the Racing Post Trophy which takes places at Doncaster on October 28.
The final Group One of the British Flat season has a good record of unearthing Classic contenders and Palmer is hoping The Revenant, who made a winning debut at Haydock last week, proves up to the task.
"He's obviously got to progress a great deal from what he did at Haydock," said Palmer.
"The race we are looking at is the conditions event over a mile at Epsom (October 1). Winning first time out sometimes makes it harder to place them.
"You can run in a novice with a penalty and just fail, emerge as the best horse at the weights but it takes the gloss off somewhat.
"There's the Haynes Hanson & Clark at Newbury he could go for, but the Epsom race is worth more.
"I wouldn't want to send him to Doncaster without another run. I've left him in in the Royal Lodge, but we'll take him out of the Dewhurst.
"He'll be sharper for having a run, but I don't want to run him over less than a mile really.
"We've also got Arbalet in, who Ryan Moore was very complimentary about after he finished third in the Solario.
"He's going for the Autumn Stakes at Newmarket and that then might be enough for the year, we'll see.
"White Mocha just failed under a penalty and is a lovely horse for the future, while I was really impressed with Fajjaj at Ascot on Saturday, the way he battled back in bad ground.
"All four have won with an ease in the ground so hopefully one of them makes it."
Aidan O'Brien is strongly represented with the likes of The Pentagon, Kew Gardens and Nelson.
Chilean, Wells Farhh Go and Verbal Dexterity are others to note at this early stage.
