Our pundit and resident website tipster Dave Nevison likes three runners over the jumps on Thursday. Enjoy all the action from Wincanton and Chelmsford live on Racing TV.
1.45 Wincanton: Country Lady
While there is time yet it is still pretty unlikely that this half-sister to Frodon will scale the same heights as that admirable chaser but she will no doubt go off short for this first run in a handicap hurdle.
Country Lady won a bumper last season and has run well enough in two novices hurdles so far this term, including when upped to around this trip last time.
A mark of 102 seems fair and Freddie Gingell, who has continued to impress this season, takes over. A solid run looks assured.
2.30 Ffos Las: Tune In A Box
Cameron Iles is back on board Tune In A Box after missing out on winning rides the last twice and his very useful 7lb claim completely negates the five-year-old's penalty for winning last time out.
Iles was on board when this horse signalled that he was going to be a stayer, running on really well over two and a half miles even though beaten nearly 35 lengths at the line back in November.
Tune In A Box has really appreciated the extra half mile the last twice and, with his rider's claim, can make it a hat-trick of three-mile handicap wins here.
3.00 Ffos Las: Pimlico Point
Kerry Lee has her string in really good form at present - which is often the case at this time of year - and I fully expect Pimlico Point to be fit enough despite being lightly-raced and absent from the track since November.
The seven-year-old has clearly had training issues but generally runs very well when we do see him and he looked to make a decent fist of things on his first run over fences last time. He finished five lengths in front of a subsequent winner and a 3lb rise in the weights looks very reasonable for a horse that should progress over fences.
