Our website tipster and TipStar champion Katie Midwinter marks your card for Saturday's action with fancies from Chester as well as from and the Curragh, both live on Racing TV.
1.50 Sandown: GLENFINNAN (E/W)
The four-year-old holds strong each-way claims back up in trip following a couple of disappointing efforts over six furlongs.
He shaped with promise over seven furlongs as a juvenile when second by half a length to
in the Convivial at
- finishing ahead of the likes of
and
- and the return to this trip should allow him to improve on recent efforts.
Glenfinnan has shown he still possesses plenty of ability this season when beating
in an Ascot handicap before finishing fifth in the Wokingham Stakes, and in calmer waters he can outrun his odds under Oisin Murphy, who has ridden him on a number of occasions previously.
2.40 Chester: REVICH (E/W)
Chester can be a specialist track and course form is always a huge bonus, so Revich makes plenty of appeal in this competitive contest.
The eight-year-old has finished third in this race twice previously, including when half a length behind runner-up Percy’s Lad last year. There is a 6lb swing in Revich’s favour with his reopposing rival now, and the return to Chester can see him return to some form after a number of poor runs this season.
Excuses can be made for some of his recent runs, and he’s dropped to a mark of 91 and a rating 4lb lower than his last win. He’s well-handicapped if able to return to the force of old and, with the yard in decent form of late, he represents each-way value as he bids for a fifth course win.

2.50 Curragh: RUDI'S APPLE
The Joseph O'Brien-trained Rudi's Apple has shown enough ability in five starts to date to suggest he can win a race at this level and, last of five in the Group One Phoenix Stakes when last seen, he can return to form now down in class.
He had previously finished sixth in the Windsor Castle Stakes before placing second to subsequent Richmond Stakes winner
in a
maiden.
With plenty of substance in the form - and experience at a higher level which should hold him in good stead - the No Nay Never colt can emerge as best of this Group Three field.

5.20 Sandown: SPRING BLOOM
Spring Bloom is rated 7lb higher than at the start of his sequence yet he can still land the hat-trick under
.
The Robert Eddery-trained gelding had dropped to a mark of 71 after a few disappointing runs, including when fifth at Sandown Park in July. He was forced to battle for the lead there which proved detrimental late on, but he can improve on that on this return to this track given he has good course-and-distance form off a higher mark.
Spring Bloom was a winner from a mark of 84 last season and could therefore still have more to give from a rating of 78.
