Monday tips: two jumps picks from Dan Overall

Racing TV pundit and website tipster Dan Overall sticks to the jumps on Monday with a couple of selections from Hexham. Enjoy action from Pontefract, Tramore and Warwick live on Racing TV.

He sprawled after the final fence at Kelso last time when still challenging in a deeper race than this one, and he effectively runs off 2lb lower now.

The nine-year-old showed a liking for this track when second in a maiden hurdle on his only prior visit back in November and, while he can finish tamely, if the recent wind op has the desired impact then he’s a leading player here.

This two-time course winner looks an each-way player.

He shaped well for a long way on his previous start last month - again at this track - but failed to see out the four-mile trip.

Dr Shirocco is back at three miles now and he's 1lb higher than his last winning mark, with his two previous successes coming off a rating of 87.

Jockey Heidi Palin, who has a 25 per cent strike-rate when riding for trainer Sandy Forster, also takes off a valuable 7lb.
