kept the ball rolling as far as this column is concerned and hopefully there's more from the Irish Derby card at the

1.40 Curragh: TUNBRIDGE WELLS
Aidan O'Brien has not won this race since 2018 but he can put the record straight with Tunbridge Wells.
This two-year-old has had just two runs and got off the mark on his second start at the Curragh. He won that day despite being green and, as such, has plenty of improvement to come. He beat
that day, who went on to be runner-up in the Queen Mary at Royal Ascot.
Cheekpieces go on now and I expect him to make a big step forward.
2.15 Curragh: COMMANCHE FALLS
Last year's winner can repeat the feat.
Comanche Falls will be suited by a return to six furlongs after finishing a good second to
in the Achilles Stakes at Haydock Park last time out and all 12 of his career wins have come at this trip, while he seems to find his best form every year in the summer.
He can be competitive in Group races, but this Listed level is where he excels and I think another win in this valuable sprint awaits.
3.25 Curragh: MUNDI
He won on his debut at
in a good time, giving us a glimpse of his raw ability, and he can take a big step forward today.
Mundi remains with a lot of potential having not been suited by conditions in the Gallinule Stakes last time. The groud was too soft for him there on just his second career start.
There's plenty of improvement to come from this full brother to Classic-winning
and he can prove the point here.
4.05 Curragh: MATSURI
While he needs to improve on what he has done so far, he could not have been more impressive in winning at Leicester last time and I think he can cause an upset in the Irish Derby.
I'm a huge fan of the Derby winner
but I'm not convinced by those who finished behind him.
is a keen-going sort who may be best returned to 10 furlongs and
is a strong galloper who may want further.
Neither convince me that they are Derby winners in waiting and therefore the race could be open to a shock. Matsuri is the one for me.
