With one winner from four selections in my Sunday column last week, I am hoping for better this week as I turn to York where I have a quartet of selections.
The track staged what I believe was the best meeting of the year by far when hosting the Welcome to Yorkshire Ebor Festival last month, and there is another excellent card on the Knavesmire on Sunday. Make sure you watch every race live on Racing TV.

This William Haggas-trained gelding looks to be a progressive sprinter and can take the step up in grade here in his stride.
He was impressive when winning at Brighton last time out where he cut his rivals down from off the pace to score easily and had shaped well the time before at York when second over seven furlongs as he travelled best throughout, only to be undone by the trip.
Six furlongs will be ideal here and he has a low draw in stall four, which is where you want to be on the straight course at this track.
He is a sprinter going places and at a venue that he clearly acts well at, he is definitely the one to be with at a general 4-1.
Ed Walker has his horses in good form, and he looks set to win this four-runner Listed contest with Great Ambassador.
The four-year-old has won two of his four starts since joining Ed Walker from Ralph Beckett and appears to be thoroughly progressive.
He was third in the Stewards’ Cup in July where he raced in the unfavoured group and that was on ground that was softer than ideal. He was then an impressive winner at Newmarket back on quick ground next time out and will be a contender for valuable handicaps next year, such as the Wokingham at Royal Ascot.
However, this is just another stepping stone in his rapid progression and he is worth supporting at 5-2.
