My first two selections at Huntingdon on Thursday both need to wake up on the right side of the bed to score, which may be wishful thinking, but if they do show their best, they will be in with a chance.
We should definitely get a good run for our money with Dan Skelton’s charge who runs in the 4.10pm, though, despite that looking a competitive contest on paper. Best of luck.
If this four-year-old is a horse you’ve been following for a while, then there’s a good chance you might be giving up on him soon, but he has managed to get himself very well handicapped following a string of defeats, and I am relying on the talented Fergal O’Brien to get a win out of him.
Charles St only managed one very fortunate win on the Flat (he was booked for second place until an unfortunate incident occurred) but performed consistently, although frustratingly, at a decent level afterwards.
He finished second on his hurdling debut when narrowly denied at Warwick, but his subsequent fourth revealed his wayward traits, although he did lose a shoe on that occasion.
He arrives in this modest handicap off a rating of just 108, which doesn’t reflect his ability. Liam Harrison claims a further 3lb and has the responsibility of steering this youngster who has been a beaten favourite on four of his past five starts.
Has not been the most consistent since he came over from France but he has still won plenty of races.
The last time he scored was when he raced in a 0-105 handicap, and he now returns to that level plus he has certainly seemed to find a hike in the weights a bit of a tough ask over the past few months.
His handler, Dr Richard Newland, has his string back in form after a bit of a mid-season lull, so Rostello could be poised for a good run.
He won over course and distance last season, too, so has plenty going for him here.

Too Friendly is a really consistent performer who looks as though he is the progressive one among this field and can gain due reward after finishing behind a couple of useful types recently.
He may have finished even closer at Wetherby last time out had he timed his challenge better, but he still finished a very respectable second to Homme Public, who looks worthy of running at the Cheltenham Festival.
Good ground is ideal and a decent pace will help, so it is difficult to see this selection not going close.
