5.42 Salisbury: REGAL ENVOY
Regal Envoy has won and finished runner-up on his two previous visits to Salisbury and, now that he has hit form again, looks very ready to land another course victory.
He is only 2lbs higher than when he won at Lingfield last time in a race for apprentices and in-form trainer William Knight (3 winners from last 10 runners) has booked
to ride, which looks very positive.
This sprinter has a good winning habit for one of his ability and should go very well from stall 2.

8.00 Wetherby: REIDH
Trainer
has his string in excellent form so I am hopeful that Reidh will be fit and ready to race first time out this season.
The four-year-old was possibly at his best on his first start of last season, so the signs are good that he will be up for this and it is obviously helpful that he is now running off a mark 10lbs lower than when he started off in handicaps.
Reidh didn’t take to the all-weather last back-end and I am hoping that a return to turf might enable him to finally break his maiden.

9.00 Wetherby: LIFE ON THE ROCKS
He should complete the hat trick.
Life On The Rocks had certainly been heading for the rocks given how he had been running in the early part of this year, only beating three horses in three runs on the all-weather, but the handicapper had reacted very forgivingly by dropping him 16lbs for that sequence.
The four-year-old didn’t respond to that positive treatment immediately but he has now hit form and bolted up on his last two starts, especially so last time at Ayr when he won by six lengths.
He is 8lbs higher here (6lb penalty plus the 2lbs he was due to go up anyway) but that wouldn’t have stopped him last time and it still puts him on a mark 8lb lower than he had just three months ago.
