After a 16/1 and 9/4 winners from just two selections on Wednesday, our pundit and resident website tipster Dave Nevison thinks three handicappers are worth a second look from Newbury and
on Thursday. Enjoy more live action from Leopardstown and

2.10 Sandown: LIL GUFF
He looks to have a great chance here from a rating 6lb below his last winning mark.
gets on well with Lil Guff and steered him to a nose defeat in a 0-95 handicap over this course and distance last September, so it would seem straightforward that he has a great chance now in this 0-80 bracket.
Murphy was on board again when Lil Guff went for home just too early here three starts ago before getting collared close to the line and it just seems to be a case of finessing the ride to get Lil Guff past the post in front.
Lil Guff was beaten a neck under
at
last time and the five-year-old is in top form for trainers Daniel and Claire Kubler.

Surely the narrow but convincing win last time off a mark of 60 was the start of a progressive journey for Samoon Star.
By Dubawi and out of a mare who was placed in two Classics, Samoon Star only won by ½ a length at
but she was still noticeably green for most of that handicap debut but she eventually picked up and went past all four of her rivals to win cosily, and in a manner very much suggesting more to come.
Trainer
has long been a master at bringing horses on via the handicap route and I am sure he will be pleased with his three-year-old filly going up just 3lb ahead of this assignment.
Sandown Park is a fairly similar track to Leicester and
keeps the ride, so the signs are good once again.
6.15 Newbury: FLATLEY
Trainer
has booked a good rider in Eireann Cagney for this amateurs-only event and Flatley could outrun his odds in a competitive affair.
He has not won on turf and his best form has so far come on the all-weather, where he has scored three times including this year. However, he was only beaten just over two lengths at
last time and was staying on over a mile after being outpaced early.
The handicapper has dropped Flatley to a very favourable mark on turf - and one 4lb below his last all-weather win - and his pedigree is full of middle-distance stayers, so it is possible that he will improve over this 10-furlong trip.
As a mature seven-year-old, he looks a little overpriced.
