There’s a competitive seven-race card at Leicester on Tuesday where there looks to be a decent bet in the Class Two Every Race Live On Racing TV Handicap (4.50pm). I also have a fancy in the opener at Leicester plus one at Newcastle. Best of luck!
At Liberty ran possibly his best recent race in an apprentice handicap over this course and distance three starts ago where he was beaten a head after being collared close home by a rival who was ridden by an apprentice with more experience.
The four-year-old returns here off just a pound higher mark, so might be able to land this modest contest, especially as he also ran well when narrowly beaten at Redcar last time out.
It is obviously a concern that this consistent performer is yet to win from 15 starts – he’s also finished second in five of his 11 starts this season - but he clearly gets on well with this rider and looks likely to get an uncontested lead.
If Joe Bradnam can ride a well-timed race, the elusive win could be his.

Leicester might be a bit different to Ascot, but the 7f straight course is similar, and it is not unusual for horses that do well at Leicester to run well in big events at Ascot.
I am hoping the reverse is true with Inver Park who can cap a really good season here. George Boughey’s four-year-old won the hugely competitive Buckingham Palace Stakes at the Royal Meeting and races off just a 3lb higher mark here after two unplaced runs.
He was unsuited by the drop back to 6f at Goodwood, a completely different test, and ran a perfectly good race when beaten just over a length in seventh in another competitive handicap at Ascot.
William Buick, who won on the selection at Hamilton, is back on board and that looks the icing on the cake.
I tipped this seven-year-old last time out and while she ran well, I was reminded how slow and difficult she is to get going, which was painful to watch.
I am staying loyal to her in this modest event, though, as she has dropped another 2lb for that effort, which is useful, but the fact a senior jockey is on board for the first time in a while is more significant.
Two of her three wins have come under senior riders and Phil Dennis finished third over this course and distance on the only time he has ridden Tomorrow’s Angel.
Tristan Davidson’s charge is now on her latest winning mark and has an obvious chance here.
