Horse racing tips: Dave Nevison's best bets for Saturday

I am concentrating on an excellent jumps card at Haydock on Saturday afternoon as the quest to land an each-way yankee continues!
Best of luck with your bets this weekend, and please remember to gamble responsibly.
Richard Bandey will get a win out of Mister Malarkey soon, judged by his run at Cheltenham this week, and has shown he can improve horses from big yards like the Tizzard’s.
A win with this ex-Gordon Elliott trained runner is very much overdue, but he will be freshened up after his first run following a break last time and can land this decent prize.
I suspect he might have won had he not fallen two out at Wincanton in December and was given time to get over that. He produced a really good effort last time to finish less than a length behind the winner, and the pair pulled 11 lengths ahead of the third. He has been raised 3lb, but he is only seven, and I expect further improvement is likely.
If this five-year-old cannot take advantage of a handicap mark not much higher than his flat rating, then it hardly seems worth pursuing a career over jumps as his rating certainly looks lenient.
Things started out well enough for him over hurdles with a victory at Leicester before he was no match for a useful mare on his next start, and he would have finished closer last time but for a bad mistake at the last, after which he was not knocked about.
His last two outings have been on soft ground, but his wins on the flat have mainly been on much faster ground and off bottom weight here, with ground to suit, he looks a decent bet.
He was victorious in the Tommy Whittle over this course and distance on soft ground before Christmas, but he got stuck in bottomless ground last time out.
He has had a wind operation since and is tried with a tongue tie for the first time plus has been dropped 2lb since his last run. He is clearly suited by Haydock and looked to have plenty of improvement in him when he scored here two starts ago.
I am going to give up on this horse soon, but one more roll of the dice at a big price, and in a big field, is worth the risk here.
Tom Bellamy was brilliant on Coeur De Lion on his penultimate start when he looked certain to score comfortably before being outbattled by a doughty rival, but Alan King’s nine-year-old kidded his rider into going too early last time and he faded out of things quite tamely.
The selection is very well handicapped, but it will take a good ride to win on him as he needs to be delivered very late. However, the long run in will suit him and hopefully Daryl Jacob will time things to perfection. His handler also remains in good form.
